Sony DCR-TRV33 Mini DV digital camcorder

We owned two regular 8mm camcorders. When the second started falling apart, I decided to spend a little more on a nice camcorder. The Mini-DV types are really small, plus the Sony had a fairly high still-photo resolution (1152 x 864) for a pretty good price.

We're loving this thing! Very small and easy to use, which means we're using it way more than the old, bigger 8mm camcorder. The touch screen is cool. The batteries (small ones) last a long time. The tapes are short... only 60 minutes... which was hard to get used to.
