Note: 98 or 99 exterior color to sample orders can delay production by and additional 3 to 6 months from the original production month.
When ordering a 98 or 99 color, please specify the color name in the "Comments" section of your IDCS order screen and any paint code or manufacturer's information available. A sample of the color may be required. If necessary, a sample of the color may be sent by PCNA to the customer to verify the color mix prior to planning the car for production, causing even further delays. The cut-off for ordering color to sample exteriors for this model year will be sometime in March of 1997. Please direct any further questions regarding special color orders or deadlines to the Vehicle Distribution Department at Porsche Cars N.A.
