Remembering Ferry Porsche - Letters from the Porsche World
Professor Doctor Ing. h.c. F. Porsche was the way I addressed him in every letter I wrote. He commanded that respect. He was a living legend and he will be revered in automotive history as a man who was never afraid to think his own thoughts - an innovator, a leader. He carved out a niche in the marketplace for his ideas and then put his cars and engineering expertise up against the best in the world and won time and time again.
I love this man who was not afraid to be a pioneer, who was not afraid to test his ideas against the best in the world and who built the cars I love to drive. His passion became our passion; his dream became our reality. I will miss him and I hope that the company can remember his lessons and the leadership he gave to the most formidable marque in automotive history. -- Judy Boles, President, Porsche Club of America
