Boxster.com - A legion of Boxsters invade Las Vegas.
by Pete Stout
Twenty-eight Boxsters and their proud owners pose in the hot Nevada
sun.
Excerpts:
Las Vegas is a town known for excess. Even so, its inhabitants and visitors stopped everything a gawked when a string of 28 Porsche Boxsters cruised into town. But the Vegas vacation of April 18-19 was no Porsche club event. Participants had never shaken hands nor shared a meal. They hadn't even spoken by phone. The only contact these Porsche owners had was through the keys of their computers at home.
The weekend was organized online by an group of people who regularly converse about their Boxsters and other Porsches via the internet. But the group didn't wait until after they took possession of their cars to get acquainted -- they were already on the countdown long before any Boxsters were in their driveways.
It all started when...

desert excitement.
