My experience with YL started with 4 full summers at Malibu when it first opened [1954], cooking the first two and running the Totem Trader the second two years. The following years I was the wife of a staff person in Riverside, CA, getting to go back to Malibu on two occasions. Since then I have served in support positions, being a member of the local committee and praying with a group each Friday for YL. I help gathering donations and selling tickets for the YL auction each year.

I retired from teaching high school two years ago and am active in my church and educational activities in Riverside, spend lots of time with my youngest grandson (I have 8 grandchildren), and love opportunities in photography.

I am grateful for the time we will have together to serve and share our faith stories. He has good things planned for us and those we will be welcoming to hear the Good News!

We will have much to share with you in the next months, and I will keep you in my prayers as you prepare for your trip to Malibu.
